1st : Application
Host Company receive the application of students

2nd: VISA
After you are successfully matched to your desired host company, your Program Manager will receive the details on your internship and your responsibilities. It is the Program Manager's responsibility to make the first contact with the host company. After this initial contact, we will send you the Confirmation of Internship signed by the host company. When you receive the CI, take it to the nearest Chinese Embassy or Consulate and apply for your Business Visa.

3rd: Accommodations
Before arrival, CCOC will assist you in booking a hotel or finding an apartment well in advance of your arrival to Shanghai. We also provide the option of living with a Chinese family which might help to give you a greater understanding of Chinese language, culture and customs

4th: Arrival
Upon your arrival at the Shanghai Pudong International Airport, you will be met & transported to your hotel, apartment or host family by CCOC Staff.

5th: Application for Temporary Residence Permit
CCOC will apply on your behalf to expedite the process. Once you receive the permit, you will need to have it with you at all the time. Make a photocopy of it just in case.

6th: Health Insurance and Daily Necessities
CCOC staff will accompany you for shopping, credit/debit card applications and any other necessities for your daily living. For participants who do not have health insurance that covers them outside their home country, CCOC offers health and accident insurance through Allianz China Life Insurance Co Ltd.

7th: First Day of Internship
The CCOC Program Manager will introduce you to your colleagues and boss on the first day of work. We will also review with you and your boss your job contract and your rights as an employee. You will sign your job contract at this point.

8th: 24/7 Assistance
We provide you with 24/7 assistance during the entire period of your internship. You can request assistance on any matter relating to: leisure, visas, repairs, doctor, housemaid, plane tickets and so on.

9th: End of Internship
At the end of your internship, you will be awarded the SBIP Certificate at a ceremony in Shanghai, reflecting your intensive language and cultural studies. If needed, we will help to assist in post-graduation employment planning.

Fees


Adequate financial resources will be required.

Down payment 200US$ after arrive Shanghai,and balance of 300US$ after you reach agreement with your host company.

If we cannot find you an internship within the 30 days, your down payment we will be reimbursed completely.
